The Rodriguez Ranch started as a 55 acre conventional farm in Escondido,California. From there, the family managed to become CCOF certified in 1985. Michael's uncle Joe became the 15th farmer  growing organic certified in the region. Since then the family have committed to sustainable organic farming practices. These appetizers are an alternative to jalapeño poppers with a milder pepper and customizable filling. Purchase fresh and organic shishito peppers here. Recipe via Kevin is Cooking Take the cream cheese out of the refrigerator and allow to come to room temperature. Move oven rack to middle of oven and turn broiler on. Dice the salami into small pieces and add to a bowl with the cream cheese. Add the garlic powder and black pepper. Stir to blend thoroughly.
